Did slaves help to make your Christmas gifts this year?

Are you someone who wants to know”the story behind the barcode”. As consumers we can reward those in retail who are making the effort to have transparent supply chains that have no tolerance for slave labor as well as encourage further corporate responsibility. Not For Sale has created a great app, Free2Work, for people like you and me.

At the moment I think there are around 10,000 products accessible via the app. But the more you scan the more Not For Sale will be able to encourage other companies that transparent supply chains really do factor into the consumer decision making process.

This year you can not only give a gift but also give towards the common good.

“Every product has a story. And I know that I am not the only person who does not want to wear people’s tragedy. I do not want to consume their suffering with my morning cup of coffee,” - David Batstone, founder and president of Not For Sale.

How often do you download a new app? Just think, you can help to fight modern day slavery by downloading Free2Work right now. Here is the link to more information.
